Who we are and what we do:
We are a small group of volunteers that care for and foster Boston Terriers and occasionally other small breed dogs in our homes. We cover the states of VA, Northeastern NC, MD, DE & DC. We will help any Boston Terrier any age and needs. We also take other small breeds on a space available basis.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER LIKE A CITY OR COUNTY SHELTER
WE DO NOT HAVE VISITATION HOURS ALL BOSTONS FOSTERED WITH US LIVE IN OUR HOMES AS PART OF OUR FAMILES UNTIL THEY ARE ADOPTED

What can you do?
All donations are welcome, we would love donations of Eagle Pack our preferred food as well as holistic premium grade treats. Gift certificates to any national pet supply store or on line pet supply. Toys, blankets, dog beds and harnesses are always welcome (we do not use collars ;). Gift cards to Pet Smart or Petco are always nice. They do not sell the holistic food we feed our foster and personal dogs. They do sell other items we need, treats, toys, beds and other items needed for daily care.
We always need money to help with vet bills any amount is greatly appreciated $5 sent by many is as welcome as a large donation or grant. We've saved many Boston's and kept our heads above water with small donations sent by people that believe in our mission and can only help by sending prayers, positive thought's and a few dollars when and if they can. If you'd like to send a care package or a donation in any amount to help Boston's in need follow the PayPal link to donate or contact me at odbtr1@embarqmail.com for our mailing address. There are links to our veterinarian’s on our vet's page their address and phone numbers are available on their websites. Any donations made directly to one of our vets should be clearly marked for Old Dominion Boston Terrier Rescue. Without donations we are limited in what we can do. Most of our dogs adoption fees are significantly lower than their actual vet expences. If you can't adopt or volunteer in other ways please consider a small (although we won't turn away large ;) donation
