Surrendering you Boston
At this time we are unable to take Boston's right away. We are small and are full. We have a waiting list of dogs that need to come to us. The current wait is 3 to 8 weeks. The wait depends on us finding homes for the Boston's that are with us now. Addressing their needs and finding them homes when they are ready. Be paitent and we'll take you Boston. Please do not wait until the last minute to contact us. We're doing the best we can with only three foster homes. Only one, mine can take more than one dog unless the are a pair. We are looking for more foster homes so we can help faster.
Should you find yourself in the position of no longer being able to care for your Boston the way you feel you should, we are here for you. Sometimes it's a training issue and we can help you work things out with your Boston and your family. If possible we will help you. If retraining is not your issue we are here for you as well. If you must rehome your Boston for any reason we will take them into our program as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that we are all volunteers and most of us work full time jobs. We limit the numbers of dogs we work with at any time so we can get to know them and address any health or behavior issues needed to allow them to be the best Boston they can. With this in mind please be paitent with us and do not wait until they must leave your home right away. If they must we will do all we can to work as quickly as possibe. We have owner surrenders on a regular basis. We have to take shelter dogs as soon as the shelter will let us, since those dogs are almost always in danger of being put to sleep we have to take them right away. Please know that we will take your Boston as soon as humanly possible.
